1– Who can practice yoga/dance/Pilates?
Anyone, regardless of age, gender, religion, or previous experience. Yoga is a practice that aims at self-knowledge, but it also benefits physical health and mental and emotional balance. Our dance classes are also inclusive and no previous experience is necessary to enjoy them. Pilates classes improve physical condition and benefit all types of practitioners. Everyone is welcome to come and practise with us. We advise you to consult your doctor before starting any exercise programme.
2– Which class is best for me?
All classes are tailored to the students. In the same class, there may be someone who has never practised any of the activities offered and someone else who has been practising for many years. Choose a class where you feel comfortable and where you identify with the group and the teacher. However, we all have different needs and characteristics. If you are pregnant, have had an accident or undergone surgery recently, or need personalised attention, please talk to us.
3– I would like to take a trial lesson. How should I proceed?
You must contact the school to schedule and reserve your place. Contact us by telephone or email. To take any trial lesson, and whenever a student is not yet enrolled and does not have active insurance, they must sign a liability waiver.
4– How often should I practice?
The frequency of practice depends on each individual. It depends not only on your experience and physical condition, but also on your personal availability. We recommend a minimum of two practices per week in order to feel some progress, but this is merely a suggestion.
5– What do I need to bring to yoga/dance/Pilates classes?
Bring a mat for yoga and Pilates classes. If you don't have one, we can provide one for you. Wear comfortable, light, cotton, breathable clothing that is not too tight. If you don't want to do the class barefoot, bring non-slip socks. You can bring slippers, as we will ask you to take your shoes off at the entrance. Bring a jacket or sweater to keep you warm during the relaxation part of the yoga class. The school also provides blankets.
6– What am I entitled to when I enrol in classes at Lua Holistic Space?
You are entitled to use the space and attend the number of classes according to the chosen modality. You can also enjoy special discounts on workshops and activities at Lua Holistic Space.
7– What is the fee payable upon registration?
In addition to the monthly fee for the course you have chosen, the registration fee also includes the annual insurance fee and the enrolment fee. Please enquire about these fees. Students enrolled in more than one course will only have to pay the enrolment fee once.
